What location do mod components in the compressor kit go

For the BJF JFET Compresssor kit? There is a 180k resistor included to replace R18. Increasing this resistor to 180k will move the whole range of the Compression pot to more compression. There is also a vintage diode included which you can use instead of D6 if you like.
