Just built a Moody-tremolo and to my noob-surprise it seems that i've actually succeeded - it works! 😀. Maybe i will try some of the suggested mods to make it slight faster.
However, the LED is not flashing in sync with speed as in demo videos. What could have gone wrong? Or is it not supposed to flash by default?
Hi, great it works. I redesigned it a couple of years ago and in the new design the LED does not blink. You can mod it to blink but you will lose some tremolo depth when that mod is done. In short, here is how it can be done: lift one side of R9, connect one LED pin to the (lifted) pin R9, connect the other side of the LED to the place on the board R9 was lifted from. Make sure the LED is turned the right way. You might need to put a resistor in parallel with the Speed control otherwise it might stop oscillation in an end position of Speed. Possibly R8 needs to be increased.
Thanks for fast reply / Tack för snabbt svar 🙂
Then I know it's not anything i've missed while building. And thank you for the mod tip a well!
